Changchun Foreign Language School (长春外国语学校) is one of the seven foreign language schools in the country established under the instructions of Premier Zhou in September 1963. It is the only foreign language school registered by the Ministry of Education in Northeast China. It is the vice president unit of the National Foreign Language School Work Research Association. CFLS belongs to Jilin Provincial Department of Education and is one of the first batch of key middle schools in Jilin Province.
The main campus, which is both a Junior High and High School, is adjacent to the scenic Nanhu Park, covering an area of about 36,000 square meters. The campus construction is standardized, the layout is reasonable, the environment is beautiful, and the teaching and living facilities are complete.
Changchun Foreign Language School also has a new campus in the Nanguan District of Changchun, which is an elementary/primary school.
