About Phoenix City International School

Phoenix City International School is a nine-year integrated school founded in September 2003, located in Phoenix City, Country Garden, Zengcheng District, Guangzhou, covering an area of 143 acres. The PYP program for bilingual primary schools was officially authorized by the IB International Baccalaureate Organization in July 2016; The bilingual junior high school MYP program was officially authorized by the IB International Baccalaureate Organization in July 2019. Our school is the first IBPYP and MYP authorized school in Guangzhou to explore Chinese as a language. Our school’s curriculum integration project adopts textbooks approved by the national compulsory education stage, adopts internationally advanced teaching methods, with exploration as the core, concepts as the driving force, global background as the reference, and ATL as the practical basis, to conduct interdisciplinary teaching. Our outstanding MYP graduates have been admitted to well-known international high schools in southern China. After high school, they have been admitted to world-class universities such as Princeton University, Cambridge University, University College London, and the University of Chicago.
