Zhuhai Hope Star Experimental School, formerly affiliated with Peking University Qingniao Education Group, was founded in 1997 as Zhuhai’s first municipal first-class private K-12 boarding school. Located at No. 1689 Yinwan Road, Xiangzhou District, it neighbors Macau and Hengqin in the Cross Bay CBD. Guided by the motto “Virtue, Learning, Innovation, Practice” and the philosophy “Fostering Morality, Cultivating Talents,” it emphasizes all-round development (morality, intelligence, physical education, aesthetics, labor) and aims to nurture students with Chinese cultural roots and global perspectives.
The school adopts a “Compulsory + Elective + Special” curriculum: 14 compulsory subjects (languages, sciences, humanities, etc.), 15 electives (chorus, programming, sports, etc.), and specialized programs (art/sports college entrance exam classes, Japanese track, international cooperation). With a 12-year consistent system, it offers small-class teaching and a three-stage high school program (foundation building, specialization, exam preparation). The 72,000㎡ campus features advanced facilities: 400m track, sports venues, smart library, provincial-level labs, AI teaching systems, and art/music rooms.
Boasting 178 full-time teachers (15% postgraduates, 24% senior titles), the school has outstanding academic results: 3rd-ranked private junior high in Zhuhai (2024), 90.9% regular high school admission rate for some classes, and 600 high school enrollments (2024).
