Recruitment of Foreign English Teacher
Founded in 2010, Ganzhou Middle School is a public comprehensive secondary school directly administered by the Ganzhou Municipal Education Bureau and a key high school in Jiangxi Province. Guided by the philosophy of “enabling every student to experience the joy of success,” the school has focused on building its foreign language education brand. In 2011, it added the designation “Ganzhou Foreign Language School,” and in 2012, it was selected as one of Jiangxi Province’s first pilot schools for specialized foreign language development in regular high schools, providing southern Jiangxi students with a high-quality international growth platform. To advance international education development and strengthen our English faculty, we are now seeking full-time foreign English teachers. Details are as follows:
I. Position
Full-time Foreign Oral English Teacher (1 position)
II. Job Requirements
- Age between 22–45, gender is not limited;
- From English-speaking countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, and Australia;
- Bachelor’s degree or above in related majors (e.g., English Language & Literature, Education), with master’s degree preferred;
- TESOL/TEFL certificates or official teaching qualifications preferred;
- Experience in English oral teaching (international schools) or English teaching for Chinese students preferred;
- Excellent professional knowledge of English and advanced teaching methodologies, with a precise grasp of the teaching rules of English in middle and high school;
- Passionate about education, with strong classroom management, communication, and coordination skills and willing to integrate into the school’s teaching team;
- Respect traditional Chinese morality and the school’s cultural heritage and willing to comply with Chinese laws, regulations, and school rules.
III. Job Responsibilities
** (1) Core Teaching Responsibilities**
- Teach oral English to Grade 7 and Grade 10 students, focusing on improving students’ oral English skills;
- Develop scientific and reasonable teaching plans per the school’s syllabus and goals; complete full-cycle teaching (lesson prep, instruction, evaluation).
** (2) Extracurricular Guidance**
- Guide English competitions (pre-training, event organization) and serve as a judge;
- Participate in English club activities, plan cultural experiences, and foster a vibrant English learning atmosphere.
** (3) Additional Requirements**
- Punctually attend pre-service training, faculty meetings, and educational seminars organized by the school;
- Actively cooperate with school arrangements to support international education.
- Guide students in establishing and maintaining proper classroom conduct to foster a positive learning environment;
- Engage in professional development to enhance teaching proficiency and expertise;
- Complete other English teaching-related tasks assigned by the school.
