Founded in 2000 by Shanghai Dongding Group, Shanghai Dongding Foreign Language School is located in Huinan East District, next to Disneyland, Pudong International Airport, and the under-construction Shanghai East Railway Station, a major transportation hub. The school currently has a primary school, a junior high school, a domestic high school, and an international high school. It is a modern, high-standard private foreign language school with a twelve-year system.
The campus covers an area of nearly 200 mu (about 33 acres) with a total building area of 200,000 square meters. It features modern teaching buildings, STEM classrooms, a library, an e-reading room, and various laboratories for physics, chemistry, biology, and natural science/technology.
