Job Description:	Major Responsibilities:  Provide psychological counseling for individuals and groups of students. An ability to work with families and participate in the Parent Program is a bonus.  Coordinate intervention strategies for management of individuals and school wide crises. Part of any crisis response team.  Identify and provide intervention strategies for children and their families, including counseling, case management, and crisis intervention.  Consult with teachers, administrators, and other school staff regarding social and emotional needs of students.  Work with Head of Learning Support to coordinate outside of school services for families and individuals.  Provide translation for Learning Support student meetings and IEP paperwork.  Set a good example to the students they teach in their presentation and their personal conduct.  Attend meeting called by Head Teacher, Coordinator and Co-Principals.  Complete other duties requested by the Head Teacher or Co-Principals
Job Requirements:	Requirements and Qualifications:  At least a Master’s Degree (MSW, Master of Social Work or Master Degree in School Psychology or Clinical Psychology).  Native Chinese Speaker with at least conversational English.  Be responsible for work; be patient, kind and good at cooperation.  Use multi-media technology in teaching; use office software effectively.  Agree with Yew Wah’s missions and philosophy and practice them through hard work.
