ESL Teachers

Dongguan Foreign Language School (DGFLS) is a top school in the city, known for its excellent learning environment for over 7,100 students (grades 5-12). Our dedicated teachers inspire students and help us achieve this reputation.

Our foreign department has 15 international teachers who teach English and share their cultures. We also encourage them to experience Chinese traditions and student events. Classes are small, with about 25 students, so teachers can really connect with each one.

English Language Teacher Opening

• At DGFLS, we’re looking for passionate English teachers who love to learn and want to join our diverse team in Dongguan.

Qualifications

• Native English speakers from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand are preferred.
• You need a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• You must have at least two years of teaching experience and a teaching certification (TEFL/TESOL/CELTA).
• You must qualify for a work visa in China.

Responsibilities

• You’ll teach English to students from Grade 5 to Grade 12.
• Work hours are Monday to Friday during office hours, with a maximum of 20 periods (40 minutes each) per week.
• You’ll participate in school activities with students, like English-speaking contests and cultural festivals.
• You’ll create lesson plans and help improve our existing curriculum.
• You’ll attend meetings, training, and seminars.
• You’ll evaluate student progress and help them improve.
