- Have a Bachelor degree
- Have some form of teacher training (ex. B.Ed., PGDE, PGCE)
- Are registered with the Hong Kong EDB
- Are registered with the teaching certification board from a Canadian province you received your B.Ed
- Are registered as a teacher with the Ontario College of Teachers
