Job Description

Starbugs is an English training center dedicated to teaching Chinese children English as well as providing them with a holistic North American style early childhood educational experience. With a literature reading-based curriculum, Starbugs is arguably the most innovative children’s English service provider in Shanghai with a reputation for its quality services and a strong customer base developed over nine years of the company’s history. Starting in 2013, Starbugs is coming into Beijing, opening its first school site in Wangjing area.

Job Responsibilities:

• deliver/facilitate reading club activities (online/offline)
• grading children’s work and conducting tests to gauge children’s progress
• offer feedback/suggestions to children/parents; communicate effectively to children/parents
• support and contribute to content development by offering inputs and feedback
• support company’s marketing/sales initiatives/efforts

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• being able to deliver learning objectives set out by the club
• being able to engage students while applying differentiated techniques
• experience of leading reading club group activities
• knowledge of phonics preferred; native speaker or native-level speaker
• effective management skills
• a team player who will proactively collaborate with team members to achieve common goals
