About NAS Foshan

NAS Foshan provides state  of the art teaching and learning environments for up to 2304 students. The unique international learning experience at NAS Foshan offer students aged 6 – 18 years old the best of eastern and western education resources and philosophies. The bilingual curriculum is based on the Guangdong K-12 curriculum blended with globally respected international curriculum elements and teaching methods. Global academic results

The 2020-2021 school year was the strongest ever in terms of Nord Anglia Education’s academic results. For the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, our students achieved a 36.2 global point average and a 98% pass rate, with over 20 students earning a perfect score of 45. In the A-levels, our students achieved 65.4% of grades at A*-A, along with 83.7% at A*-B, with a group-wide pass rate of 99.4% and seven schools achieving a perfect 100% pass rate. In this year’s I/GCSE results, 59.6% of students achieved A*-A grades, with a group-wide pass rate of 89.5% and 13 Nord Anglia schools achieving a perfect 100% pass rate.

About the role

Join our fast-paced international environment, and you will deliver UK National Curriculum and IGSCE or International Baccalaureate programmes. You will challenge your students to set ambitious targets for themselves and seek out and use innovative teaching practices to enhance our students’ experiences and outcomes.

About you

With the ability to create a classroom culture where there are no limits to what can be achieved, you will have a university degree in your specialist subject, a teaching qualification plus considerable teaching experience and knowledge of the curriculum. Receptive to feedback and ready to embrace change, you will be keen to share best practice with colleagues and peers.

A strong ambassador for the school, you will be able to develop new ways to engage students and parents with the wider school and Nord Anglia Education community. Your strong motivation and communication skills will also enable you to create a feeling of energy, excitement, and personal investment within the classroom. You will also be able to meet visa-related restrictions for China, including teaching Certificate in relevant subject area and school level, bachelor’s degree or above, three or more years’ international education experience.

Selection process

The closing date for application is 30^th June 2022. Due to global travel restrictions, all interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams/video call. There will be three stages of interview, including a panel interview.
