Recruitment Announcement for Foreign Teachers at Hefei Normal University

In order to further improve the internationalization level of our school and meet the needs of foreign language teaching, we are now recruiting outstanding foreign teachers at home and abroad.

I. Job Descriptions
(1) Majors: Pharmacy, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Football, English, Spanish, etc.
(2) Job Positions: Full-time or part-time foreign language teachers or professional foreign teachers; the contract period is 10 months, and it can be renewed upon mutual agreement after expiration.

II. Qualifications
(1) Abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China and love the teaching cause.
(2) Have good professional ethics, abide by academic ethics, work diligently, have no criminal record, and no record of punishment for violating professional ethics and academic ethics.
(3) Foreign language teachers must come from native-speaking countries of the language, and non-language foreign teachers need to have the ability to teach in fluent English.
(4) Non-language foreign teachers must have a master’s degree or above; language teachers must have specialized training in language teaching and relevant work experience in the education field.
(5) Applicants should have good teaching ability, master good teaching methods, have strong language expression ability, and be able to be competent for the teaching work of undergraduates.
(6) Applicants should be in good health, have good personal qualities, professional qualities and a team spirit of being good at cooperation. The age of applicants is generally not more than 60 years old.

III. Duties and Responsibilities
(1) Work Location: Hefei, Anhui Province.
(2) Work Tasks: To teach professional courses and language courses.
(3) Teaching hours: Foreign language teachers are required to teach 12 – 16 class hours per week; professional foreign teachers are required to teach 8 – 10 class hours per week.

IV. Salary and Benefits
(1) According to the foreign teacher’s educational background, relevant work experience and other conditions, the starting salary will be set respectively according to the different post standards of foreign language teachers and professional foreign teachers.
(2) Hefei Normal University will purchase “Comprehensive Medical Insurance for Foreigners and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Visitors to China” for foreign teachers who sign full-time employment contracts.
(3) Hefei Normal University will provide foreign teachers with full-time employment contracts with international student apartment housing and basic living utensils. However, the costs of water, electricity and other expenses will be borne by the foreign teachers themselves.
