Answering phone and email enquiries regarding admission to the school, keeping accurate and updated records to follow up with these enquiries;
Conducting campus tours and Information Sessions with prospective parents to introduce the school in its totality to the enquiring family;
Guiding and assisting parents through the application process;
Attending and presenting at the school events and outside Marketing events where required;
Complying with the general polices and entry requirements of the school and of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission;
Building a network of strong relationships with all academic and non-academic staff in the school;
Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the school, and liaising with the school’s academic divisions in order to understand any changes to curriculum, programmes, activities, subject selections, etc. and report up-to-date information regarding class sizes, projections, campus capacities, enrolment status and market situations, etc. to the Marketing and Admissions Supervisor/Manager.
Meeting and exceeding the school’s target intake number;
Ensuring administrative tasks and procedures are completed according to set standards;
Preparing Marketing and Admissions reports as required;
Developing and maintaining relationships with external partners such as expat communities, English media, and new business partners.
In addition, the ideal candidate should have a good understanding of search engine (Google) management (SEM) and optimization (SEO) and social media platforms to assist with marketing campaigns.
Following instructions and accomplishing all tasks assigned by the Marketing and Admissions Supervisor/Manager.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business Management, or Communications;
At least two years of professional experience in Marketing or related fields;
Native English speaker, ability to converse in Mandarin a plus;
Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to create creative story angles;
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships;
High level of initiative, and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with clear expectations and timelines;
First-hand, professional experience with SEM, SEO, Google analytics, email marketing, and social media;
Proficient at using Microsoft Office Suite software. Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop a plus;
Ability to strategically analyse and apply data to drive marketing initiatives and decision making;
Willing to work some irregular hours, overtime, and some weekends;
Photography, videography skills a plus.
