Middle School English Teacher in Jinan

Jinan Foreign Language School (JFLS), established in 1989, is the unique foreign language school in Shandong Province which has been officially put on record by the National Ministry of Education. It is a complete secondary school with the prominent feature of foreign language, which also puts particular emphasis on both Arts and Science and is geared to the needs of the world. In 2001, Jinan Foreign Language School became one of the seventeen foreign language schools in the whole country with the qualification determined by the National Ministry of Education that can transport admitted-by-recommendation students toward priority colleges and universities.

Full-Time Foreign Instructor Positions Available

Position Title: Foreign Instructor (English, German, French, Spanish)

Applications are invited for appointment as instructors in Jinan Foreign Language School, on a 12-month fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal.

Position requirement:

• Teaching positions are open to native speakers below 60 years old, who are holders of a BA or MA or PhD degree in languages, linguistics, literature, education, culture, or other relevant disciplines.
• Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience and preferably TEFL/TESOL certificates. The appointee should be qualified to teach speaking and writing courses for middle school or high school programs.
• Applicants should abide by the laws and regulations of the people’s Republic of China, and have no legal disputes and criminal records in their original country of residence and China (formal supporting materials are required).

Position responsibilities: Teach speaking and writing courses for middle school or high school programs, more than 22 class hours per week for English teachers and no less than 6 class hours each week for other language teachers.

Salary: Salary negotiable, commensurate with educational background and teaching experience.

一、招聘岗位

2、招聘岗位：合同制的全职语言类或专业类外籍教师；合同期为10-12个月，到期后经双方同意可续聘。

二、基本条件

1、所有外籍教师应来自与讲授课程相对应的母语国家；

2、具有学士及以上学位，语言学、文学、教育学、文化等相关专业优先录取；

3、受过语言教学的专门训练并具有两年以上的相关语言教学经历（须出具正式证明材料）者优先录取;

4、年龄60周岁以下，身体健康，具有良好的个人品质、健康向上的心理素质及善于合作的团队精神；

5、遵守中华人民共和国法律和法规，在其原居住国及中国境内无法律纠纷，无犯罪记录（须出具正式证明材料）。

三、工作任务

1、工作地点：山东省济南市；

2、工作任务：担任口语、听力、写作、母语国家本土文化等课程的教学工作；

3、工作时长：英语教师每周22学时以上，其他语种教师每周6学时以上。

四、薪资及福利

1、根据外籍教师的学历、相关工作资历等条件，工资面议。

2、济南外国语学校向外籍教师提供公寓租住，居住在教师公寓的租金、水电暖等费用由校方承担。
