PHE ASSISTANT

Léman International School Chengdu (LIS) is looking to recruit a PHE Assistant, to coach swimming course.

Nord Anglia Education is looking to recruit a PHE Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to create a generation of resilient and creative global citizens, who will change our world for the better. You will benefit our students and people, through our programmes such as the Global Campus, Nord Anglia University, and our collaborations with The Juilliard School, MIT, UNICEF, IMG and King’s College London.

 

The role:

We seek a qualified PHE Assistant to join our school where your focus will be:

  • Coach Swimming classes, supported by a lifeguard and the PHE teacher.
  • Communicate with parents using our online platforms when necessary.
  • Help in the organization of tournaments and sporting events and fixtures- both internal and interschool.
  • Support the academic and social-emotional development of all students. 
  • Run and/or support After school activities and coaching.
  • Be a positive member of our school community, contributing to school events and activities throughout the year.
  • Help organise and maintain the PHE equipment and learning environments.
  • Be an active member of the PHE department, communicating and working effectively with a diverse team of international teachers. 



 

 

The Successful Candidate will possess:

  • a university degree
  • a recognised swimming coach qualification & lifeguard certificate
  • a minimum of 2 years relevant teaching experience
