Responsibilities:

  • planning collaboratively and prepare learning engagements in order to deliver the school curriculum, ensuring breadth and balance in all subjects
  • planning opportunities to develop cultural, physical, social and emotional and spiritual aspects of students’ learning
  • introducing engaging practices and high-quality resources in teaching
  • prepare engaging teaching materials and use electronic media to teach subjects efficiently and effectively
  • assigning appropriate homework and marking it on time
  • evaluating student progress with accurate student records of performance and providing ongoing guidance for improvement
  • attending parent, teacher, and staff meetings and other promotional events as required
  • participating in and organizing extracurricular activities
  • being responsible for the safeguarding and wellbeing of students
  • taking on professional development opportunities
  • maintaining regular office hours
  • teaching up to 20 periods per week, 35-40 minutes per period

Qualifications and experience:

  • Native English speaker with a genuine interest in teaching children
  • bachelor degree or above in relevant areas, with teaching license such as PGCE (preferred) or with TEFL, CELTA, or TESOL certification (acceptable)
  • with at least 2-year full-time teaching experience
  • with IPC/PYP teaching experience (preferred)
  • clear background without any criminal record
