OBJECTIVES
Wellington College International Shanghai is looking for an experienced candidate to cover the position of Marketing Intern. This is a great opportunity to gain experience across a wide range of marketing activities while working with a fantastic team. The marketing team works with a diverse audience including pupils, parents, faculty/ staff and the wider Wellington community.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
• Preparing chemicals and laboratory apparatus for science lessons
• Maintaining safe storage and well-organized inventory of chemicals and apparatus, reordering as required
• Maintenance of all equipment within the science labs Safe keeping and management of apparatus, models and diagrams in accordance with experiment requirement, in an orderly and classified manner
• Paying special attention to the security of toxic, corrosive and highly flammable/explosive materials, making clear labels• Establishing and improving procedures of waste\loan\use\compensation of equipment and chemicals conducting regular inventory check
• Managing the department office, in particular making sure that the office is tidy and well presented for visitors. Responsible for ensuring that all relevant paperwork is organized and filed
• Other assigned work as requested by Head of Science Lab Technician
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Good communication skills both in Chinese and English
• Good team player and fast leaner
• Science background, chemistry or biology related.
• At least 2-3 days per week
