Secondary PE Teacher

THE ROLE:

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic, and creative teacher of secondary PE and Sport who will inspire our students to understand the value of Physical Education and competition in society and for students’ own well-being.

PE and Sport at Huili Shanghai has entered an exciting stage of development with the addition of new state of the art sports facilities. We are determined to create positive pathways that meet the demands of all our students. Facilities include: a brand-new sports hall, 25m swimming pool, outdoor basketball court, athletics track, astro playing field, dance studio and fitness suite.

Students at Huili School experience considerably more curriculum PE compared to other international and British schools. Our curriculum is dynamic and innovative and is broadly based on both international and Chinese curriculums. As part of the PE curriculum, we offer a comprehensive aquatics programme across all age groups. With the addition of older year groups, we currently offer IGCSE PE and plan to introduce IB Sports, Exercise and Health Science in the near future. Our aim is for students of all ages to have opportunities to participate in numerous sports teams and in a wide range of local, regional, and international events. The successful applicant will be expected to be highly involved in our extensive extra-curricular (CCAs) clubs and lead sports teams and events in their specialist areas.
