Secondary Science Teacher

THE ROLE:

The science department at Huili School Shanghai aims to ensure that all pupils develop a natural curiosity for the world around them by providing an outstanding learning environment in which every student can succeed.

Science at Huili School Shanghai comprises of biology, chemistry, and physics. Lessons are supported by state-of-the-art equipment, well trained lab technicians and specialised laboratories for each subject. At Junior High level (12-15 years old) secondary teachers work collaboratively to ensure an engaging and cohesive curriculum that blends both the UK and Chinese curricula.

At IGCSE level, students can choose to study all three single sciences or co-ordinated science. This is followed by our IBDP level program in which students will have the option of choosing to pursue biology, chemistry, physics or sports, exercise, and health science.

We are looking for an outstanding practitioner who can deliver high quality learning to our eager students. The ideal candidate will be professionally qualified and have experience delivering science lessons to students at IGCSE or IBDP level.
