As a WASC accredited bilingual boarding school, VMA aims to transform the existing educational model with a more innovative approach. It’s fitting that our new school has made her home in Shenzhen, a global city and national center for innovation. In the spirit of its mission “cultivating global citizens and leaders with Chinese identity” Vanke Meisha Academy (VMA) aims to develop young adults with strong roots in their own culture while having and understanding and respect, and the ability to work within a global multi-cultural world. Vanke Meisha Academy (VMA) — was established in 2015 by the Vanke Education Group, (a Fortune Global 500 company) alongside Shenzhen Middle School, one of the top high schools in China.
Our teaching team represents many different nationalities, each bringing their experiences and cultural background to enrich VMA’s community. Teachers can choose to either work in our established US Track, following a curriculum building towards AP courses and standards, or the established UK Track, following the Cambridge International IGCSE and A Level courses.
