Suzhou International Academy, BFSU (Chinese: 北外附属苏州湾外国语学校) is a private school located in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China.
Suzhou International Academy, BFSU (officially named “Beijing Foreign Studies University Affiliated Suzhou Bay Foreign Language School”) is a full-time international K-12 school located in Suzhou Bay by Taihu Lake, Jiangsu. Co-founded by Wujiang District Government, Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) and Jiangsu Tianwu Group, it covers kindergarten, primary, junior high, domestic senior high and international senior high divisions.
Guided by the motto “Come Here, Go Further”, the school integrates national curriculum with international standards. Key programs include IGCSE, A-Level (as an authorized Cambridge assessment center) and BFSU PASS study-abroad pathway. It also offers second foreign languages (Japanese, French, etc.) and bilingual interdisciplinary courses .
The academy has a qualified faculty of 396 full-time teachers, with 40% holding master’s degrees or above and over 20 foreign instructors . Its modern campus spans 161 mu, featuring eco-friendly facilities and diverse learning spaces adjacent to East Taihu Ecological Park .
