Wenzhou Union International School (for Foreign Nationals) is one of the key initiatives endorsed by the Wenzhou City Government in order to enhance the local business environment, advance international cooperation and exchanges, and create a friendly atmosphere for talents. The school was approved by the Department of Education of Zhejiang Province and registered with Zhejiang Civil Affairs Bureau.
What’s Special
As the only school in the city to offer foreign curricula at the primary and secondary level, WUIS aims at quality international education for children of foreign expatriates, overseas Chinese, and citizens of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. The school embraces the role of the Academic, Social-emotional, and Physical Growth of the students. It has created an international atmosphere as its students and staff come from different countries. WUIS believes diversity learning is a fundamental aspect.

The Core Program
The school offers English, Social Studies, Maths, Science, PE, Music, Chinese, Language Support, and Art/Drama/Music/IT. The programs are founded on the Hierarchy of Learning Strategies for Highly Effective Teaching (Visible Learning Classroom).
