English Language Teacher (PDF)

【Responsibilities】

• Deliver engaging IPC lessons for primary students (Grades 1–6) in accordance with the IPC learning goals and school curriculum framework;
• Design coherent, age-appropriate lesson plans and prepare creative learning materials based on IPC units;
• Create an immersive English environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and active learning;
• Apply flexible and interactive teaching methods—games, songs, projects, experiments—to motivate students and maintain attention;
• Effectively manage classroom routines and support students’ social and emotional development;
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse English proficiency levels:
• Lower grades: English beginners (zero foundation);
• Upper grades: basic users (A1–A2 level);
• Observe and document student progress, provide feedback, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly;
• Work collaboratively with Chinese homeroom and subject teachers to deliver integrated learning experiences;
• Participate in school-wide events, parent meetings, and professional learning sessions;
• Maintain a warm, patient, and responsible attitude towards students and the teaching team.

【Qualifications】

• A genuine love for children, with patience, responsibility, and strong learning ability;
• Bachelor’s degree or above (Education or related field preferred);
• Native English speaker currently residing in China;
• Two years or more of teaching experience, or a valid TEFL/TESOL certificate;
• Strong classroom management and communication skills;
• Ability to design lessons following the IPC framework and adapt teaching to students’ real English level;
• Passionate about inspiring curiosity and building positive learning habits;
• Creative, cooperative, and open-minded in an international team environment;
• IPC or international curriculum teaching experience preferred.

【Salary and Benefits】

• Monthly salary: 22,000–27,000 RMB / month (depending on qualifications and experience)
• Housing allowance: 1,500 RMB / month
• Paid summer/winter vacation (starting from the second contract year)
