ESL Teacher Job Responsibilities

(Note: The job responsibilities of ESL teachers may vary depending on the age group of children or when necessary.)
1.固定带班，负责本班级的日常授课和活动，与班级内老师合作完成本班教学任务。
The fixed-class teacher is responsible for daily teaching and activities in the assigned class, collaborating with other teachers in the class to complete the teaching tasks.

2.幼儿保育工作，雇员与班级所有老师共同承担保育工作，外教涉及到的保育工作包括但不仅限于:分餐与幼儿进餐管理餐后桌面和地面的清理午睡床铺的发放和收纳幼儿入厕的看护和协助幼儿安全管理和行为管理每日整理教室内玩具及教具每周五进行玩具清洗.
Childcare Responsibilities. Including but not limited to:
Assist with meal distribution and supervising children during mealtimes.Clean tables and floors after meals.
Distribute and collect bedding for nap session.Supervise and assist children with toilet routines.Ensure the safety of children and support behavior management.Tidy and organize classroom toys and teaching materials on a daily basis.√Clean/Disinfect toys on Fridays.

3.幼儿评估.按照园区要求对幼儿进行评估，包括:每两周为班级部分幼儿完成一次Learning Story在学期内持续记录部分幼儿的成长观察按要求将观察记录填写在幼儿评估手册中.
Child Assessment.The Employee shall conduct child assessments in accordance with the requirements ofIvy, including but not limited to: Completing 1 Learning Story every two weeks for selected children inthe class; Continuously documenting developmental observations of certain children throughout thesemester;Archiving all required observations and assessments resources in the Child EvaluationHandbook as instructed by the Ivy.

4.教学准备。如无园区会议或其他重要事务，雇员可以用来备课的时间为:周一至周四16:30-17:30.周五14:40-17:30。备课需严格遵守园区课程设计和相关理念要求。园区鼓励雇员在此基础上进行优化。雇员的教学质量将会受到园区的监督，并在必要时根据园区要求改进。
Unless otherwise required for scheduled meetings or important matters, the Employee shall use thefollowing periods for lesson preparation: Monday to Thursday from 16:30 to 17:30, and Friday from14:40 to 17:30. Lesson planning must strictly adhere to the school’s curriculum framework andeducational philosophy. The school encourages the Employee to optimize lesson content on this basis.Teaching quality will be monitored by the school and shall be improved as necessary in accordance withschool directives.

5.专业发展。按照园区安排，参与持续的培训项目。每月会有专人进入课堂听课，并在必要时提出课程优化建议。园区课程设计以幼儿为中心，处于动态调整中，需要教师保持“空杯”与开放的心态，积极配合并在课程调整时进行必要修改，入职第一个月需每天提交工作日志，总结当日收获与疑问.
Professional Development. The Employee shall participate in ongoing professional training programsorganized by school.Monthly class observations will be conducted by designated staff members, who may provide feedback and suggestions for lesson improvement as needed.As the school’s curriculum is child-centered and subject to dynamic adjustments, the Employee is expected to maintain an open and adaptive attitude, cooperate proactively, and make necessary modifications to lesson plans whencurriculum changes occur. During the first month of employment, the Employee shall submit a dailywork log summarizing key takeaways and any questions arising from each day’s experience.

6.活动支持。园区开展活动时，外教根据需求积极参与或支援(承担策划人、主持人等)，活动包括但不仅限于:郊游，户外教学活动，周末招生demo课，Special Day等主题活动，其他园所大型集体活动.
The Employee shall actively participate in or support school events as required, which may includeserving as an event planner, host, or in other designated roles. Activities include, but are not limited to:
excursions, outdoor educational activities, enrollment demo on weekends, thematic events such asSpecial Days, and other large-scale programs organized by school.

7.服从主班老师和园区管理.由于不同年龄段幼儿特点各异，各班教师的工作内容和重点也会不同，园区将定期进行工作调整，外籍教师需听从班主任老师的管理并服从园区安排，如有岗位或工作内容的变动，需积极配合执行。
Compliance with Lead Teacher and School Management. As thedevelopmental needs of children vary across different age groups, the duties and priorities of teachers in each class may differ accordingly. Ivy
reserves the right to make periodic adjustments to staff responsibilities. The Employee shall comply withthe instructions and guidance of CT (coordination

注意:外教不与家长直接对接沟通，也不添加家长微信，主班老师是家校沟通唯一渠道.
At Ivy, ESL teacher shall not engage in direct communication with parents, including adding parents on WeChat or any other messaging platform. All communication between the school and parents shall be conducted exclusively through CT(coordination teacher).
