Ideal Huitong Candidate Overview

We believe all children are naturally curious and born to be great thinkers, forming meaning from interactions with family, peers, teachers, and community. Core responsibilities of all Campus faculty members are organized loosely by the four program areas of the Huitong Ideal Candidate: (1) Core Curriculum, (2) Global Perspectives, (3) Personalized Pathways, and (4) Beyond the Core as well as those responsibilities expected as a member of a collaborative, professional learning community.

Person Specification

We seek someone who:

· is knowledgeable, resilient, energetic and inspiring

· collaborates well with colleagues

· has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with pupils and colleagues

· is a skilled advisor and pastoral guide for children

· is a continuous and self-reflective learner

· has a Bachelor’s degree e.g. BA/BSc, ideally in a relevant subject area

· has teaching certification or an appropriate licence

· is fluent in English

Desirable, but not essential for consideration as a candidate:

· at least three years of teaching experience

· Master’s level degree or above, and in a related area
