Elementary English Teacher

Position: International School English Teacher: Elementary, Homeroom Class (Grade Levels 1 to 6)

When: 2024-2025 School Year

NOTE: This position requires you to have a BA and a valid teaching license or TEFL Certificate. Also, you must be from a native English-speaking country.  Also, teachers currently in China or planning to return to China with their current Z Visa will be given preferential status. We can only accept passport holders from Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States.

Job Details:
–Students aged 6-12 years old (Grades 1 – 6)
–You will have a Chinese English teacher in your class to help you while you teach;
–Full-time job: Monday to Friday, 7:40 AM to 12 PM, 2 PM to 4:30 PM (On Friday afternoons, you need to meet with the student’s parents, so you need to work until 5:40 PM); about 20 lessons every week; 40 minutes a lesson;
–During the mornings and the afternoons, when not teaching, you’ll have desk time to work on your lessons.

— Three campuses to choose from: Beijing, Wuhan, and Hainan Island.

Pay and Benefits:
–28000cny/month – 40000cny/month (gross salary);
–Reimbursement for flight costs (economy class, to and fro) from your home country once per year;
–Comprehensive Health insurance (in/outpatient care;
–Furnished apartment monthly subsidy;
–Fully paid winter and summer vacation days (2 months);
–A performance-based component to the pay system where you can earn a bonus as high as 21000 RMB at the end of each term (possibly 42,000 CNY total for two terms);
–300 CNY per month stipend for computer or instructional resources;
–Reimbursement for costs incurred during Chinese work visa application process;
–Free meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) on the school campus during any working day;
–The right person could have their contract renewed for subsequent years.

NOTE: This position requires a BA and a valid teaching license or TEFL certificate. Also, you must be from a native English-speaking country.

Required Qualifications:
–Native English speaker from a native English-speaking country; We can only accept passport holders from Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. Unfortunately, any passport holder from any other than just those 6 locations can not be accepted.
–Govt. (State Issued) teacher license/certification;
–Bachelor’s degree (minimum);
–Master/Doctorate preferred;
–Good at lesson planning and curriculum design;
–Due to work visa application reasons, age not higher than 59 at the time of entry;
–Highly motivated, passionate, energetic, creative, humorous
